Mission

The mission of CLP is to promote and teach less commonly taught languages (LCTLs) by:

1. Increasing the offerings of LCTLs and making instruction readily available for all.
2. Growing language offerings and enrollments with the goal of transitioning languages to UA departments.
3. Teaching and promoting intercultural understanding.
4. Supporting instruction and assessment practices of LCTLs by enhancing the expertise of tutors and examiners.
